ITACA, an Italian organization that provides technical and business development support to entrepreneurs and social enterprises, operating in marginalised urban areas, especially start-ups – in responsible tourism, agriculture, home based business, service industry, heritage protection.

NECOS (Civil Society Network for Cooperation and Solidarity), an international network of non-governament organizations that specialize in building public awareness and local capacity in participated, inclusive and suistanable development and promoting international cooperation for dialogue, integration and enhanced mutual understanding.

Partners Plan for the land Promoting responsable tourism in iran

An Iranian partner of Sustainable Tourism in Iran project is Plan for the Land. It's a national level organization based in Kish Island that fasters partecipatory and suistanable local development aimed to protect and promote local resources.

Iranian partner Marefat

Marefat Pardis Toos, a Mashhad-based Iranian non-governament organization working with local authorities and communities on safeguarding local resources and supporting local socio-economic development, including responsible tourism for cultural and religious heritage protection.

The International Department of Cultural Commission of the Mashhad City Council will specifically participate in developing a strategy and action plan for local cultural and religious heritage protection and responsible tourism development.
