Visiting Neyshabur Turquoise Mine

Since ancient times, Persian turquoise has been well known in the world. Located in the central part of Firoozeh city (city of Turquoise) , Neyshabur Turquoise Mine is one of the oldest mines in the world.
Explosive method is used in its extraction. Firoozeh city has a great soil quality which makes its turquoise stone one of the best in the world.
