On 19th September 2020, at the <\/strong><\/span>TCHH of Golestan Province office in\u00a0 Gorgan<\/strong>, Golestan province, a meeting was held, facilitated by the Marefat Pardis Toos project team and attended by the NECOS team.<\/span><\/p>

This event was organised as part of the DEVCO co-funded \u201cPromoting Responsible Tourism for Sustainable Heritage Protection\u201d and aimed to raise awareness amongst key stakeholders of Golestan on the importance and value added of responsible tourism in protecting local cultural heritage.\u00a0 Key stakeholders participating in the event included Directorate General of Tourism, Cultural Heritage and Handicraft of Golestan Province\u0648 Deputy Minister of Tourism of the General Administration, \u0634\u062f\u06cc Representative of the MFA\u00a0 in Golestan Province.<\/span><\/p>

Participants talked about opportunity for future projects, Tourism dangers and opportunity for protection of heritage, Cultural understanding, Natural Tourism, The important role of NGOs in implementing national policy, Golestan Province and Eco tourism, Golestan capacity for tourism.<\/span><\/p>

This event was organised as part of the DEVCO co-funded \u201cPromoting Responsible Tourism for Sustainable Heritage Protection\u201d and aimed to raise awareness amongst key stakeholders of Golestan on the importance and value added of responsible tourism in protecting local cultural heritage. <\/span><\/p>
