On 31st May 2020<\/strong>, at Gorgan in Golestan Province<\/strong>, a Project Meeting Event<\/strong> was held, facilitated by the Marefat Pardis Toos project team, and attended by 8 participants from the MPT team and from Golestan and Fars NGOs.<\/p>

This event was organised as part of the DEVCO co-funded \u201cPromoting Responsible Tourism for Sustainable Heritage Protection\u201d project and aimed to discuss need assessment, tourism industry actual needs and related areas like rules and regulations, Covid-19 and its vast impact on tourism and to present training materials.<\/p>

Key stakeholders participating in the event included the members of local NGOs who expressed their needs for practical training based on the participants\u2019 region and local cultures and for teaching codes of conducts.<\/p>

This event was organised as part of the DEVCO co-funded \u201cPromoting Responsible Tourism for Sustainable Heritage Protection<\/em>\u201d project\u00a0 and aimed to raise awareness amongst key stakeholders of Golestan on the importance and value added of responsible tourism in protecting local cultural heritage<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Key stakeholders participating in the event included the representative of Tourism, Cultural Heritage and Handicrafts of Golestan Province <\/strong><\/span>who talked about works that have been done, the needs of Golestan to improve tourism and of the local communities for training about responsible tourism.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
