On 24th of July 2021, Marefat Pardis Toos team had a meeting with Tourism, Cultural Heritage and Handicraft (TCCH) of Golestan Province in their office.<\/p>

In this meeting, we talked about TCHH policies, designing and planning Tourism Itineraries, activities and the next steps of the \u201cPromoting Responsible Tourism for Sustainable Heritage Protection\u201d project.
Dr. Kashir talked about next activities, developing tour packages and participated responsible tourism strategies, destination marketing and branding in Golestan province.
Marefat Pardis Toos\u2019s team had a great experience visiting Golestan. We explained about our various interviews with different stakeholders and local communities.<\/p>

We illustrated their needs and requirements, advantages and disadvantages of their careers. We expressed their opinions about ways to promote responsible tourism and heritage protection since we have observed their lives directly.<\/p>

Based on our thorough observation, there are some areas of difficulty particularly in training and branding. Without a shadow of doubt, training is a significant element in everyday\u2019s life.
According to Dr. Tajari, Director General of TCHH of Golestan Province, they have held different workshops, training courses, and seminars for local people, tour guides, tour operators, NGOs, etc due to the fact that training is considered a significant factor for promoting tourism in recent years. These activities were considered fruitful by local people and activists in the field.
Another essential factor is branding. Those who are activated in the tourism field are really in need of knowing the ways to advertise, promote and sell their products. We talked about ways within which we could improve tourism.<\/p>

From the beginning of our project, all the authorities of TCHH of Golestan Province were actively engaged and completely supported us to implement different steps of the project. In order to appreciate them, we had prepared some gifts that we had presented to them.
